OUR MISSION
Power of God Ministries has one goal: To share Gods word of salvation through Jesus Christ with the world. We want everyone to have the opportunity to know the real Jesus. Approachable, personable, compassionate and full of joy – that’s the real Jesus whom we know and love. Our mission in life is to make everyone across the earth to have the opportunity to meet Jesus too.
At Power of God Ministries, we are committed to keeping our focus uncluttered – pure and simple, just like Christianity should be. We are proud to have one vision, one goal, one mission – Saving souls. It’s our passion! And we invite you to join with us and make it your passion too.
BUILDING PROJECT
We are a church that represents a community from different walks of life, uniting together to fulfil God’s great commission, which is to be a blessing, touch a life and make a difference. In 2001 our church pursued the vision of God, entrusted in us and purchased a land by faith, measuring 2067 m². Currently our congregation of 250 people fellowship in a tent which has be erected as a temporal place of worship.
To highlight some major factors that have contributed to the urgency to build, is that the community we serve consists mainly of poor and low income earners, which is the socio-economic status majority of our congregation. We are currently a lighthouse to many that have broken lives and have also implemented as hands on to re-habilitate our youth from the harmful effects of substance abuse and gangsterism.
Our future church will also include a hall, where we will run daily feeding schemes that will be an integral part in braking the barriers of poverty as well as prejudice – as the soup kitchen will be open to all, irrespective of race, religion or creed.
